‘T.K.C. Unpacked’
When Kaplan University asked us to produce a spot to launch the announcement of their new “Kaplan Commitment,” we decided the best approach would be to unpack the concept in a way that people could understand. We thought it was important to explain the new program in a way that would be visually engaging and still deliver the information in a simple and understandable way.
We took the look of their print campaign and incorporated what we called “living still photography.” We rolled camera while people posed and smiled in front of a green screen. Then we created an animated background that resembled their existing print look. The result was a spot launching their new education product that was already recognizable as Kaplan University.
